spelling bee!
I have officially made it into the spelling bee, yay! Thank you mom, for pointing out that Mrs ___ had pronounced the word incorrectly, but, I had better go study soon so bye!

ReplyDeleteI'm so proud of you Crabbin! In case anyone is interested, the word was pronounced "kro-KAY" and she spelled it c-r-o-q-u-e-t.
ReplyDeleteThe teacher told her she was wrong, then spelled the word c-r-o-q-u-e-t-t-e. Those who have eaten them know it's correctly pronounced "kro-KET".
Sorry I was dragged into it, but glad my little girly figured out how to handle the situation for herself!
